I want every puppy born here to go on to live a happy, confident, and successful life with their new family. The foundation for that begins within the first few days of life. Habits, trust, exposure, and awareness all start early, and I make sure each puppy receives the best start possible.
I incorporate the BAB (Badass Breeder) curriculum along with my own personal experience and knowledge from years of dog ownership and breeding into my program. Each puppy is guided through five different types of curriculum and exposure exercises, designed to build confidence, resilience, and adaptability as they grow.
This intentional, hands-on approach helps ensure that every puppy develops into a well-rounded companion — ready to thrive in their new home and bond deeply with their family.

When I place a puppy in their new home, my goal is for the experience to be the most enjoyable and memorable puppy-buying experience possible. I strive to make the process smooth and full of amazing memories as you welcome your new family member into your home.
Each puppy that goes home from Sweet Soul Frenchies receives the very best start in life.
Every puppy leaves here:
To make things simple and special, I prepare a personalized folder for each puppy containing all paperwork, records, and helpful information. You’ll also receive access to a Google Drive folder filled with photos from birth to their "Gotcha Day", as well as digital copies of your puppy’s documents.
Every Sweet Soul puppy goes home with a custom puppy basket packed with goodies and essentials to help you start your journey together with confidence and joy.

Benefits of ENS:
In tests of learning, stimulated pups were found to be more active and were more exploratory than their non- stimulated littermates over which they were dominant in competitive situations.

10 body handling exercises that expose puppies to positive human touch and associations. Ears rubbed, eyes gently covered, bellies rubbed, tails and paws touches, nails tapped and neck rubbed near collar area.
Benefits of Handling:
1. Desensitization- aims to introduce the puppy to touch using baby steps so as to introduce touch in a gradual method, always at the pup's pace.
2. Counterconditioning- aims to create positive associations with touch so that the puppy looks forward to it because it leads to happy outcomes.

Starts on Day 18
When puppies are this young, they do not fear sound, so we use this as an opportunity to get a head start on desensitization of loud noises
Benefits of Sound Desensitization:
1. Puppies learn that loud noises do not need to be met with fear
2. Puppies learn trust and thoughtful reactions to loud noises instead of fear as the reaction.
Examples: TV, Carpet cleaner, fire alarm, music

Starts at Week 3
Introduction to a large variety of common and less common objects, materials, movements. environments and people. I follow the BAB exposure activity guide.
Benefits of curriculum exposure:
1. The main goal is to build trust with our puppies when faced with new or strange items or environments.
